It's one of those Catch-22 situations... if you aren't busy doing something, you have nothing worthy of posting, and if you are busy, you don't have time to post... so I am making myself post today...
The effects of the massages Lucky and I got at the massage school 2 weeks ago have officially worn off... I tried doing a Pilaides workout yesterday and woke up this morning with a wretched back. It's amazing: all the subtle movements the body can make and how the wrong one can make you want to scream in agony.
Last week I took care of a sick boyfriend, got my now-plumesque hair cut short and insouciant (Thanks to FrenchToastGirl for that description), held a garage sale, and attended a wedding. It was a very sweet wedding (even though it rained) where a lot of personal touches were made... Lucky and I actually did some real dancing and I won the floral centerpiece because my birthday is coming up soon (ACK!) . The next day we went to the Tiffany Diner for a not-that-great turkeyburger... read about it here

I love Asbury Park in all of its battered splendor. The spaced-out colonial decor of the Howard Johnson's, laying on the beach listening to Clarence Clemons' band tune up for their show that night at teh Pony...That's why I was so glad that Bruce Springsteen decided to feature the town in his Lonesome Day video.
Apparently Michael Jackson is in court this week for failing to perform at some concerts... but what Michael is going to show up... Check here for a history of his facial changes.

I was kissin' Valentino
By a crystal blue Italian stream
Yup, it's Monday again. This weekend consisted of one Halloween party, one murder mystery, one prepping for garage sale, one big fat greek movie, one mommy dinner, and lots of doing nothing. Which was just fine by me.

Today I went to one of those "pseudo-dollar stores"... you know the ones where everything is still cheap but not $1... anyways, there was a golf putter there for $10. I almost picked it up but then said to myself do I really need it? The answer is yes (but I still didn't get it)... my dream is to play renegade minigolf in the abandoned range across from the Stone Pony. But soon that whole delightfully dilapitated Asbury Park boardwalk will be torn down. Oh well. Someone once told me "Change is good."
